Dry Pasture Application
"My pasture is located in an area that receives very little moisture (only 4-1/10" in 2019) and for the past 25 years I have tried endless products and processes to establish a deep rooted grass. I used ACF-SR from AdvancedAg Inc. for the first time in 2019 after allowing my pasture to sit as summer fallow in 2018. Toward the fall I noticed incredible germination for the amount of moisture that we had. I applied ACF-SR again in Spring 2020 and am thrilled that I now have an

Celebrating World Pulses Day
Did you know that today, February 10th, is the first ever World Pulses Day? " World Pulses Day is a designated United Nations global event to recognize the importance of pulses (chickpeas, dry beans, lentils, dry peas and lupins among others) as a global food. Pulse crops have a lower carbon footprint than most foods because they require a small amount of fertilizer to grow. They also have a low water footprint as they are adapted to semi-arid conditions and can tolerate drou

Pasture Trial
This rancher is in his fourth year of applying ACF-SR for his pasture. There have been major residual effects year after year on his feed value and soil testing results. He wanted to do an extensive study on his pasture using ACF-SR. So, he split his pasture into two, one side would act as the "Treated Section," the other would act as the "Untreated." This rancher saw an increase in crude protein and reported that his cattle were naturally drawn to the field where the ACF-SR

Beginners guide to ACF-SR
What is ACF-SR and why do you need it? ACF-SR is a plant growth-promoting bacteria that utilizes five specific species of bacteria to improve soil and plant health. The five species of bacteria and their functions are; Rhodopseudomonas palustris – fixes nitrogen Bacillus licheniformis – provides plant growth hormones Nitrosomonas Europaea – converts ammonia to plant-available nitrate and solubilizes phosphate Nitrobacter winogradskyi – converts nitrite to nitrate and locked u

Hay Quality and Tonnage
“As with any hay production operation, tonnage and quality are the key factors producers look to achieve, ourselves included. 3 years ago we planted a new stand consisting of a timothy, alfalfa, broam mix and had very little success - maybe 20% germination and the rest being a loss. Conditions were to blame in that case (extreme heat / lack of water). Although disappointing, it happens. Several others lost new hay crops that year as well so i went back and tried again the nex

Barley
Digestate is well established as an excellent fertilizer, but recent field studies have revealed that it can be so much better. A well timed application of ACF-SR bacteria has shown in replicated trials to significantly boost the fertilizing capacity, and therefore value of the digestate. This trial over a total plot of 17 hectares of 6 row winter barley, shows not only the impact of ACF-SR on normal farm program, but also on land where digestate is applied. ACF-SR has bee

South African Wheat
Methods and Material The trial was conducted on irrigation wheat. One section of a centre pivot received the AdvancedAg (AAG) treatment and the rest of the pivot, that did not receive the AAG treatment, served as the Control. The AAG treatment and control received the same fertilizer program. The AAG treatment received the following additional ACF-SR applications: Pre-plant application of 8 litre/Ha ACF-SR Foliar spray of 8 litre/Ha ACF-SR 5 weeks after emergence. With the p
