Digestate is well established as an excellent fertilizer, but recent field studies have revealed that it can be so much better.
A well timed application of ACF-SR bacteria has shown in replicated trials to significantly boost the fertilizing capacity, and therefore value of the digestate. This trial over a total plot of 17 hectares of 6 row winter barley, shows not only the impact of
ACF-SR on normal farm program, but also on land where digestate is applied.
ACF-SR has been seen to:
• Enhance the performance of organic fertilizers (Digestate / Slurry / Manure / Compost);
• Improve soil structure and porosity;
• Increase the availability of nutrients resulting in better natural plant health and resistance to abiotic stress;
• Improve overall crop quality traits.
